  • Metro Vancouver: Nature Kids BC. Various activities, citizen science programs and Explorer Days that connect kids and families with nature.

  • Metro Vancouver: SeaSmart. After school programs and camps that provide hands-on and solution-oriented environmental education for kids.

  • Metro Vancouver: Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association - Adult Education. Bursaries for older adults (+55) in financial need for all adult education programs, including Speaker Series and guided tours.

  • North Vancouver: Fresh Air Learning. A forest school for children ages 2-12, with professional and personal development programs for adults.

  • Sunshine Coast & Vancouver Island: Nature with Haida. Forest therapy walks, retreats and events with a Certified Forest Therapy Guide.

  • Vancouver: Brave and Free Littles Adventure Meet Up. A resource for family-friendly outdoor activities in Metro Vancouver and regular meet ups that connect parents while exploring the outdoors with your little ones.

  • Vancouver: Nature Connected. Forest therapy walks in the Vancouver area with a Certified Forest Therapy Guide.

Alberta

  • Calgary: Family Adventures in the Canadian Rockies. A resource for family-friendly hikes in the Rocky Mountains.

  • Calgary: Parks of Calgary. A free, collaborative community sharing ideas and resources to help you explore, engage, connect and improve your well-being.

  • Edmonton. Root for Trees. A free planting program that engages volunteers in planting native species of trees, shrubs and wildflowers in naturalized spaces throughout the Edmonton area.

ONTARIO

  • Mississauga: Walk with a Future Doc. A non-profit that runs monthly walks for community members led by a healthcare professional and medical students from the University of Toronto.
