Let's get #healthybynature in BC!

Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at 10:00am

On July 21st we are coming together to get outside with health care professionals across the province to celebrate Parks Day and learn more about how nature can benefit our kids health, and our own. Join us at one of the 100 walks across the province! No previous experience required! This is an informal event designed to connect you to your local parks, and celebrate Parks Day!

In the week leading up to July 21st we will connect you via email to the leader of your walk, and share any additional information regarding the meeting place and directions. All walks will be from 10:00am - 11:00am, and the group will wait 5 minutes for any late-comers before starting. We will walk, talk and meet new friends for about an hour! Please bring your own water, snacks, sunscreen, hats, and anything else you may need. All participants are responsible for their own safety and the supervision and safety of their children. Please wear appropriate footwear, and dress for the weather - we will walk rain or shine!

Here are some of the most popular walks happening across the province. If you don't see your chosen park on this list, feel free to enter it manually in the registration section or email me (jennifer.mccaffrey@bcparksfoundation.ca) to see if there is a leader in your area!
